The English-speaking newspaper Reykjavík Grapevine and IT music company Gogoyoko are organizing monthly concerts entitled “Grapevine Grassroots” in central Reykjavík. The next concert is scheduled for 20. March. Each concert will be recorded. Reykjavík Grapevine is planning to establish an extensive music database as a valuable source on the active Reykjavík music scene, to which the newspaper is dedicated to cover. Last Friday evening, Reykjavík Grapevine and Gogoyoko organized a series of concerts, the third in the series “Grapevine Grand Rock.” The concert venue for “Grapevine Grassroots” is Nýlenduvöruverslun Hemma & Valda on Laugavegur 21.
