"Viltu nammi væna?" (1980)

The first LP released on 4. December 1980 by Iceland's first punk band by Fræbbblarnir on the band's own label Rokkfræðsluþjónustan.
The band was formed in 1978 @ a school (Menntaskólanum í Kópavogi) @ Kópavogur, a town close to Reykjavik. The founding members were singer/guitarist Valgarður (Valli) Guðjónsson & drummer Stefán Karl Guðjónsson. The band was influenced by the punk & new wave scene in the UK & USA, especially by bands like The Stranglers, The Ramones, The Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Jam, The Damned, Elvis Costello, Ian Dury, Alberto Y Lost Trios Paranoias, Television, Specials, Madness & Blondie. Even bands from the 60's like the Kinks, Troggs, Manfred Mann, Herman Hermits, Rolling Stones, Animals & Pretty Things.
Album contains 18 songs, 13 own numbers & 5 covers.
It was recorded @ Hljóðriti.
Manufactured & distributed by famous Fálkinn Label.
Album sold about 2700 copies.
On the album: Stefán Karl Guðjónsson on drums/vocals, Valgarður Guðjónsson on vocals, Þorsteinn Hallgrímsson on piano/vocals, Tryggvi Þór Tryggvason on guitar/vocals, Steinþór Stefánsson on bass, Bjarni Sigurðsson & Mike Pollock on vocals.
