Iceland Music Export (IMX) is having a Party @ LA last weekend of April

Iceland Music Export (IMX) is planning a huge party in Los Angeles during the last weekend in April to promote Icelandic music. Performers include Iceland’s country queen Lay Low and front man of rock band Dikta Haukur Heidar Hauksson. Also a new mix CD will be released as iMix on iTunes & presented @ this party. CD will be given to people who buy music for movies and commercials. Information based on Morgunbladid interview with managing director of IMX Anna Hildur Hildibrandsdóttir.

The party will be held@ Lanette Phillips’s House, who, according to Hildibrandsdóttir, is well connected with the showbiz in Hollywood. The initiative is part of the project Made in Iceland, which IMX is working on in the US.
