Icelandic rapper Sesar A will hold a concert in Reykjavík nightclub Gaukur á Stöng next Friday to celebrate the release of his third solo album Of gott (“Too Good”). DJ Static from Denmark will be a special guest performer and play in Iceland for the first time.DJ Static is a member of the group Denmarks Finest, along with DJ Nozie and DJ Shine, and has represented Denmark in world championships in rap. At Gaukur he will show how a record player can be used as a musical instrument.
Other musicians who will take the stage at Gaukur are local rappers Diva de la Rósa, Dóri DNA and Blazroca. XXX Rottweiler, Seasar A and Intró will perform together as the musical spectacle “Fullordins,” which allegedly takes Icelandic rap to another level.
