Rúnk's "Klapparstígur" is the 75. Song of the Week

Inspired by the great mp3 blog (in Icelandic) of Magnús Axelsson of the band Dýrðin (http://mp3.blog.is/blog/mp3, I've chosen Rúnk's "Klapparstígur" as Song of the Week. Not to mention that my hotel for the Iceland Airwaves Festival '08 will by Hotel Klöpp in ... Klapparstígur, Reykjavík. No coincidence.
The band Rúnk released 1 record on Flottur kúltur og gott music Label "Ghengi Dahls", still available @ Smekkleysa Shop @ Laugavegur, Reykjavík.
These days the former band members are involved in other projects: Benedikt Hermann Hermannsson is leader of the band Benni Hemm Hemm (BHH), Björn Kristjánsson is the frontman of Borko, Hildur Guðnadóttir (celloplayer) has a project called Lost in Hildurness, and worked with múm. Svavar Pétur Eysteinsson is in the band Skakkamanage, together with Björn Kristjánsson of Borko. Óli Björn Ólafsson (Obo) made fame with the band Yukatan (1993), and is featured on albums by Unun, múm, Kanada, Slowblow & Stórsveit Nix Noltes.
